This program is designed to provide students with an enriched experience in corporate dynamics, collaboration and their individual areas of interest. The role: This position is as part of the Web & Mobile Team under Resiliency group of Choice Hotels. We are responsible for managing the main ecommerce web-site and mobile applications eco system for the company. You will be supporting the team in keeping our applications up and running, and improving our resiliency by enhancing applications maintainability features. Responsibilities: · Business requirements authoring/analysis · Coding/debugging, testing and documentation of software components for Web/Mobile UI/backend · Support production release of system components and any post-production issue resolution Skills you have: · Java, Unix/Linux, XML/XSLT, DOM/XPath, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery · Software development tool kits such as Subversion, Hudson, etc. · Spring or similar MVC framework Must be able to uphold Choice's Values & Performance Principles of accountability, collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, innovation, inclusion & diversity, integrity & trust, customer focus, and respect.
